Las Vegas likes to do things in big, grand fashion. It used to be that ‘gaudier was better’ (think Liberace or Elvis) but that way of thinking went by the wayside with the creation of newer and bigger and classier resorts like Mandalay Bay, The Venetian, Wynn, and now the brand new ARIA, so it should come as no surprise that shopping in Sin City has been elevated to a whole new level too. And you need to look no further than Town Square Las Vegas for proof.
If you’re driving to Vegas you’ll come across Town Square before you ever make it to the Strip right off I-15. A short cab ride away from most of the resorts in town, think of Town Square Las Vegas as The Grove or Americana on steroids, and prepare to shop, dine and be entertained as this place has it all for your consumer pleasure.
An open-air shopping center situated on 100 acres, Town Square Las Vegas is a local’s favorite and a good place for tourists to shop without breaking their wallets. Featuring an eclectic mix of retailers from H&M, Juicy Couture, A|X Armani Exchange, Borders, Guitar Center, GUESS, Abercrombie & Fitch, Apple, Lucky Brand Jeans, Puma, J. Crew, and many, many more, it’s simply jaw-dropping to see the size and scope of this place. And calling it a ‘mall’ just seems to be a disservice.
With a mix of Old World and contemporary architectural styles, along with pedestrian-friendly streets and lushly landscaped walkways that provide the ideal atmosphere for enjoying a day with the family, Town Square also features an 18-screen movie theater, interactive children’s park, as well as Town Square Park for concerts and other special events, including free outdoor weekend workout classes.
And when it’s time to eat, prepare to indulge yourself at any of the incredible array of restaurants on-site offering new dining concepts and culinary creations. Ranging from venerable mall favorites like California Pizza Kitchen and Claim Jumper, to more upscale fare found at Blue Martini, Brio Tuscan Grille, Tommy Bahama’s Restaurant & Bar, Texas de Brazil, Nu Sanctuary Lounge, and Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar you can eat and drink to your palate’s unbridled content.

During our recent outing at Town Square Las Vegas, now celebrating its third birthday, we managed to shop and eat and eat and eat some more. Here’s the rundown on some of our favorites.
