POOL PARTIES…FUN UNDER THE SUN
With all the crazy business that Vegas clubs do at night, someone had the brilliant idea of creating pool parties at all the big resorts giving birth to “daylife” and bringing in top DJs, including the likes of DJ VICE, to spin during the day so now the party really never stops.
REHAB – THE GRANDDADDY OF ALL POOL PARTIES

The original pool party in Las Vegas belongs to Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel, now celebrating its seventh year. Every Sunday during pool season, the Beach Club at the Hard Rock transforms into one enormous and massive outdoor party where thousands of revelers (as many as 10,000 Memorial Day weekend) attend and go crazy every Sunday and party from morning till night. Lady Gaga even made her Las Vegas debut at Rehab.
Named one of the Top 10 pools in the world by the Travel Channel and one of Tripadvisor’s Top 10 sexiest hotels in the U.S., Rehab offers 50 poolside cabanas that include 42-inch HD plasma TVs and poolside spa service options courtesy of Reliquary, the Hard Rock Hotel’s all-new spa and water sanctuary.
Rehab is three acres of tropical paradise with Caribbean-blue water sandy beaches, offering food and beverage service from the Hard Rock Beach Club, and the popular “swim-up” Blackjack tables.
On days when the beach club is close to max capacity you might not think it would even be remotely fun to be in such a sweltering, elbow-to-elbow frenzy but that is in fact part of the enjoyment. Personally, I would rather avoid the sardine can atmosphere, especially with thousands of sun-baked drunks surrounding me but I think I’m in the minority there. Besides, the eye candy is pretty sweet.
But to the Hard Rock’s credit, they also just unveiled a second pool at the HRH Beach Club that’s void of the madness and perfect to relax and soak up the rays without hordes of people all around you.
The HRH Beach Club and Skybar (the same legendary bar that’s on the Sunset Strip) add a more upscale, modern feel that is decidedly chill, even if the weather is not. You’ll find this pool area more relaxed and a refined place than the thumping party next door at the Hard Rock pool.
Rehab takes place every Sunday at the Hard Rock Hotel. Hours: 10:30am to Sunset. Cover: $40 for men, $20 for women. 21+
ENCORE BEACH CLUB…TAKE A BOW

The brand new pool in Las Vegas that is the talk all over town is Encore Beach Club at Encore. Guests can lounge on giant lily pads in the shallow end of the pool or dance under shower poles. And when the sun goes down, the pool area morphs into Surrender, Encore’s newest nightclub.
“Encore Beach Club is exquisite,” notes Leslie Frisbee, Editor-in-Chief of Las Vegas Magazine and Vegas2Go. “It’s sexy but it’s fun and vibrant and has this new appeal that we haven’t seen in Las Vegas when it comes to pools.”
Hours at Encore Beach Club: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. although hours will vary by season. Cover price: $40 for men, $20 for women. Prices vary during holidays and special events. 21+
AZURE AT PALAZZO

Champagne, frozen grapes, fresh fruit, chilled towels, and poolside cabana massages by Canyon Ranch SpaClub, cuisine from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, Evian water misting sprays and sunscreen application -- The Palazzo Las Vegas brings the opulence of the French Riviera to the Las Vegas Strip with Azure.
For the guest who enjoys the finer things in life like contemporary and stylish decor with lush greenery, plush daybeds and lounge chairs, private cabanas, seasonal floral and serenity with Strip views as you listen to the melodic sounds of live DJs.
Azure Hours: Fri - Sun 11am - 6pm. Cover: $20. 21+.
LIQUID POOL LOUNGE AT ARIA

The ultimate in poolside opulence, Liquid is defined by its distinctive contemporary ambience and ultra VIP service. Poolside music sets a lively mood as guests enjoy the exclusivity and seclusion provided by towering palms. Two luxury VIP pools create a tempting cool oasis from the hot Vegas sun. The 50-seat Liquid restaurant offers poolside dining and a light-hearted menu including jalapeño tacos, papaya salad, and Liquid-ritas.
“Liquid Pool had the opportunity to look at every single pool that exists in Vegas and they took all the pros and tried to get rid of the majority of the cons and created what I feel is the best pool party that I’ve ever played,” says DJ Loczi who spins every Saturday afternoon. “It’s super modern and intimate and still holds between 600-800 people.”
Liquid at Aria is open Thursday – Sunday 11am – 6pm. Cover varies.
BARE…IT ALL AT MIRAGE

The name says it all, and so do the billboards all over town with women showing you their backsides notably without any tops. Ladies can definitely take advantage of the European style sunbathing section that is secluded by towering palm trees.
Offering an outlet to unwind after a long day, Bare's comforting atmosphere and tropical ambiance seduce guests to relax as the sizzling staff pampers them. Offering a variety of specialty drinks ranging from spicy Bloody Mary's, to a cornucopia of flavored Mojitos, Bare guarantees that you will stay cool throughout your poolside escapades.
Bare at Mirage is open daily from 11am – 7pm. Always free for women, men pay $20 weekdays and $40 Friday – Sunday.

WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN CLUB IT UP

There is no shortage of clubs in Las Vegas, from big to small, intimate to warehouse-size there’s no excuse not to find some place to raise a little hell. From unassuming sans attitude like Rockhouse to the original mega-club Studio 54 to the old standby nightclub everybody wants to get into, Tao.
CATHOUSE…WHERE BUSINESS IS THE PLEASURE

Located at the Luxor casino level, CatHouse, which brings back memories of L.A. legendary seedy and sexy nightspot (in name only), is inspired by the look and feel of a 19th century European bordello. A non mega-club glamorous nightlife destination, the venue features large platforms for dancing, intimate décor and DJs playing mixes ladies do like to dance to. According to KTLA in Los Angeles CatHouse is "arguably the best" ultra lounge. Casual, sexy and yet not pretentious, fashionable nightlife attire is required.
CatHouse is located at the Luxor. Hours: Monday, Thursday-Saturday- 10:30pm to 4am; Wednesday 1am - 6am. Call 877-386-4658. 21+
XS…WHERE EXCESS IS KING

The “it” club of the moment in Las Vegas, XS at Encore built on the success that Tryst at Wynn created and then took it to a whole other level. This is the definition of the modern mega-club. Enormous and able to hold thousands or revelers, the lines to get in are enormous so show up early unless you know someone, and groups of guys are frowned upon as if they are lepers, well, that’s not entirely true as they have to pay the big bucks to get in and are encouraged to go the bottle service route to ensure admittance.
But once you’re in, and sure, you’ll be paying for overpriced drinks all night, the scene is pretty amazing, straight out of a Diddy hip-hop video. You can venture inside on the dance floor or hangout outside poolside if the night has managed to cool off somewhat, but either way the atmosphere is shy on inhibition with a party that won’t stop until the wee hours of the morning.
XS Nightclub at Encore is open Friday – Monday, 10pm – 4am. Dress code is strictly enforced. No hats, baggy clothing or athletic wear. 21+

TAO NIGHTCLUB

DJ VICE
A legendary staple of club life in Las Vegas since its opening in 2005, Tao is located near the Strip-side entrance of The Grand Canal Shoppes in the Venetian. Always one of the city’s “it” spots for seeing and being seen, inhibitions are definitely left behind at the entrance.
Swank and posh, Tao is dripping with sex appeal as beautiful girls lay in rose petal filled tubs. On Saturday nights with LAdineNclub.com friend DJ VICE spins, nearly 3,000 club-goers go crazy looking up to him as if he’s a rock star, but then again, in a Vegas club, he is, and he knows exactly what will get the crowd off.
Unless you have dinner reservations or are willing to shell out big bucks for VIP access, or VIP Table Service ($1200 includes admission for 8, a table and two bottles of Grey Goose or equivalently priced alcohol), get in line early and make sure to follow the club’s dress code policy.
Tao Nightclub is open Thursday & Friday 10PM to close, and Saturday 9:30PM to close.
STUDIO 54…HOME OF THE MEGA-CLUB

Las Vegas’ first mega-club, Studio 54 at MGM is a modern interpretation of the original den of decadence in New York and boasts state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting, and chart-topping dance music, as well as the world’s largest disco ball. The 22,000-square-foot nightclub offers four dance floors and bars, an exclusive area on the second floor for invited guests, and several semi-private lounges capable of accommodating up to 400 people.
According to Friday night resident DJ, DJ Loczi, “It’s probably the most famous club in the world. There are movies about it and continual stories about it. At the time it was built in Las Vegas that was it. It was pretty much what was there. And since then, there has been this huge influx of these incredible venues, but to me, there’s this mystique and aura that’s attached to Studio 54, because it has this reputable and amazing name.
“The reason I love it is because I can play Red Hot Chili Peppers into The Temptations into the new David Guetta track into Black Eyed Peas into Jay-Z and the whole club loves everything,” DJ Loczi continues. “To me, there are a lot of other venues and they’re trying to be very niche and are trying to be a ‘proper electronic venue’ or a ‘proper hip-hop venue’ and Studio 54 is about creating an experience and I have a lot of freedom and opportunity to make sure everyone there is having fun. I love the diversity and the classic feel.”
Today's Studio 54 blends high-energy music that could make the original '70s club blush and gives the other Las Vegas clubs something to aim for.
Studio 54 at MGM is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00pm – Close. No one under 21 allowed.
