TRUE FOOD KITCHEN
BETTER FOOD FOR BETTER LIVING
I think it’s a pretty accepted fact that we are what we eat. What we eat sustains us and the better we eat, the better we feel and perform. And the folks at True Food Kitchen believe that better food results in better living.
Renowned physician and doctor of integrated medicine, Dr. Andrew Weil founded True Food Kitchen with the simple belief that food should make you feel better, not worse. From day one he’s championed his vision to bring this way of eating to each one of his kitchens.
The menu at True Food Kitchen features global cuisine, influenced by the Mediterranean, Asia and California. High-quality grains, vegetables, wild-caught fish, certified Angus natural beef, and free-range chicken are featured, and a variety of dishes are offered as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free.
Always offering seasonal selections, the menu is always in flux and rotates regularly, allowing guests to experience vibrant dishes and drinks, crafted from seasonally abundant ingredients at the peak of their freshness.
While Spring specialty menu items included Asparagus Toast along with a lovely Seasonal Ingredient Salad, and even Strawberry & Rhubarb Crisp for dessert, new summer additions include Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon; Korean Noodle Salad with sweet potato glass noodle (yum!); Summer Tacos with grilled fish or grass-fed steak; responsibly sourced striped bass; summer berries, and even blueberry pancakes served with quinoa, Greek yogurt and maple syrup. These new items will be offered through early October.
Regular menu favorites include pizzas (love that fennel chicken sausage), bowls, and sandwiches (love that Inside Out Quinoa Burger) among other offerings. Entrée favorites include the Poke Bowl with wild caught albacore; Grilled Salmon; as well as the Spaghetti Squash Casserole.
I have to hand it to the True Food Kitchen folks for coming up with good eats that are good for you and for being able to thrive doing so. Right on! True Food Kitchen offers a globally inspired, seasonal menu that appeals to anyone seeking a more balanced lifestyle. It embraces high-quality, locally and regionally sourced ingredients to create a pure, simple menu that tastes great while nourishing the body, mind and spirit.
