THE HIDEOUT
THE ‘IN’ PLACE TO BE THIS SUMMER

Who doesn’t love a cool, swanky, dare I say chic, spot to getaway to? Well, thanks to the folks at STK Los Angeles, the modern steakhouse and lounge at the W Los Angeles in Westwood, their new lounge simply called “The Hideout” is going to be this summer’s go-to spot to chill, beat the heat, and getaway without getting away.

The new concept, from the creative, vibe-driven team at STK Los Angeles owned by The ONE Group, brings a newly designed restaurant, bar and patio space adjacent to the resort’s pool and WET Deck, offering a chic escape in the heart of the city.

So, it’s the pool area at the W, right? Yes, it is, with the full amenities of an STK restaurant but it’s also a lot more than that. Think of The Hideout as a respite from the chaos of life in L.A. Here you can relax poolside, enjoy good food and drinks and bask in a resort setting.

“After two years of planning, we are excited to finally open The Hideout,” says STK Los Angeles’ Regional Corporate Executive Chef, Robert Liberato. “The menu, atmosphere and ambience all lend themselves to a destination perfect for any occasion, and especially for the summer. Whether it’s a business lunch, date night, or Sunday Funday, The Hideout offers something for everyone.”

The Hideout is poolside paradise offering shareable plates inspired by the best of Southern California produce, designed by Chef Robert Liberato. Menu highlights include Dijon Grilled Sonoma Lamb Loin with cippolini, Roquefort butter, grilled grapes, and warm arugula; Tea Smoked Free Range Duck with cauliflower, archiote rub, and crispy garlic; California White Seabass with saffron quinoa, chorizo, new crop potatoes, and pickled radish; and sweet treats like the Strawberries N’ Cream featuring a shortbread cookie, white chocolate cremeux and strawberry sherbet, and Coconut Cream with fresh mango compote, passion fruit foam and macaron for dessert. The menu is complemented by a creative selection of seasonal cocktails made with fresh herbs and fresh-pressed juices, classic cocktail twists, frozen concoctions, and mocktails.

If you’re looking for entry into The Hideout, enter on Hilgard Avenue to the right of the hotel entrance. Pass the gate and good times will follow. The Hideout is now open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

The Hideout is located at 930 Hilgard Avenue in Westwood. Call 310-443-8218.
