THE FEDERAL BAR
RINGING IN ‘NYE’ IN STYLE

There are a million ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the City, some grand and some subdued. I sometimes opt for low-key as the rest of the year tends to be at a manic pace but sometimes celebrating with a fine meal is joyous enough.

If you’re looking to toast New Years, The Federal Bar, both in North Hollywood and Long Beach, are apt places to do so. The Federal Bar in North Hollywood is offering three different options to be festive. There’s a four-course prix fixe dinner package; a Dancing and Drinks package with champagne toast that starts at $25 per person; and a VIP Open Bar at The Salon for $100 per person that includes appetizers, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight.

The Federal Bar NYE dinner package features Crab Hot Pot, House Smoked Pork Belly, Prime Rib, Herb Roasted Chicken, Wild Salmon, and Chocolate Brioche Bread Pudding. The cost is $75 per person and also includes party favors, admission to the nightclub and a champagne toast at midnight.

For your Starter item, choose between Crab Hot Pot—baked crab dip with grilled baguette, Pork Belly (my pick) or Tomato & Avocado Tartare. Your salad course features Wedge Caesar or Baby Beet and Burrata.

For your main course, opt for the Prime Rib (my pick), Herb Roasted Chicken, Wild Salmon, or Cauliflower Steak. All selections come with Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Yukon Gold Potato Puree, and Grilled Creamed Corn. And dessert, not to be outdone, includes your choice of Chocolate Brioche Bread Pudding or New York Cheesecake.
