THE BREAKFAST CLUB
BOOZY BREAKFAST SERVED ANYTIME
The concept of boozy breakfast served all day and night, sometimes billed as breakfast for adults, isn’t a new concept but kudos to The Breakfast Club in Hollywood for doing it right. But just like Nighthawk: Breakfast Bar did it oh so many years ago (and still does it), there’s something so very pleasing and comforting about breakfast with cocktails after the sun goes down.
Because breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not enjoy it no matter the time? At Breakfast Club, they serve breakfast favorites such as chicken and waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast pizzas.
Quickly becoming a new L.A. hotspot from hospitality mogul Robert Earl and his son, Robbie Earl, the restaurant is the next-generation’s space for digital influencers to dine and create fun content for platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms. The Breakfast Club is an influencer café where vloggers and social media stars come to socialize.
Boozy Breakfast at The Breakfast Club is more than just mimosas and a Bloody Mary. Here, you can indulge with the Pebble’s Milk Punch prepped with a Fruity Pebbles rum blend, along with the Cocopuff Old Fashioned with Cocoa Puffs infused bourbon.
Consider the Everything Gimlet made with gin, lime juice, and toasted sesame everything bagel bitters a must have. And don’t sleep on the Breakfast Club Colada with Plantation Pineapple Rum, Appleton Spiced Rum, banana puree, coconut milk French vanilla ice cream, and Nilla Wafer reduction. Yum!
If you’re not looking for oversized family platters, I say start with the Croissant French Toast (croissant, vanilla bean, citrus, powdered sugar) as it’s decadently delicious and great to share.
Definitely consider the Club Pizza—mozzarella, candied bacon, chives, poached farm fresh egg on an everything maple crust—a must have. It is out-of-this-world tasty.
Hearty options include the fab Chicken Fried Steak with red eye gravy and roasted potatoes; the Rigatoni (pasta carbonara, bacon, parmesan, farm fresh egg, English peas, and black pepper); Shrimp + Grits prepped with Tobasco, honey butter, grilled shrimp, and a farm fresh egg; as well as the Chicken & Waffles Platter, which can be considered a feast with 8 pieces of chicken and fresh house-made waffles.
I would recommend ordering the Breakfast Club Colada as a decadent liquid dessert. At this point, just go for it.
Located on Vine Street between Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards, the setting here, with indoor and outdoor dining, is fun and festive. Whether you plan to day drink with good eats or indulge at night with cool cocktails, it’s a fun, fun, fun time at The Breakfast Club.
The Breakfast Club is located at 1600 Vine Street. Open daily from 8am to 11pm. Call (213) 802-2582.
