STREAM THESE NEW MOVIES
THANKS TO CORONAVIRUS
Remember back when we weren’t living in self-quarantine? When we could go to the movies and see whatever new flick we wanted? Well, for one week, The Invisible Man was new and it was a hit. Then life changed as we know it and now we find ourselves in self-quarantine.
While big blockbusters like the upcoming Fast & Furious and the new James Bond movie have been rescheduled to a later date, others are ready for immediate viewing as NBCUniveral is offering some of its current slate of films for online streaming—for a price.
Films such as the Elisabeth Moss-starring horror flick The Invisible Manas well as the controversial thriller The Hunt, along with the family adventure Trolls World Tour are available for a 48-hour rental. In addition, so is Focus Features' adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma.
Each film will cost you $19.99. And no, there are no bargain matinee prices available. That does sound pricey to me but the cost includes as many viewings as you want for two days as well as fun for all. If you’re not alone in self-quarantine then make it a movie party.
It’s a good move by the studio to get as many eyeballs to watch their films and right about now, we’re looking for quality entertainment without having to leave our homes. We’ll see if more studios follow suit.
