STK STEAKHOUSE
WELCOME TO WESTWOOD VIBE DINING

It’s summertime in SoCal and that means outdoor dining galore—preferably poolside.  And that’s where vibe dining at STK Steakhouse at the Westwood W Hotel truly shines.  The poolside dining area is known as The Hideout and it is one of the city’s coolest spots to dine, drink and mingle.

The Hideout offers a fun and festive outdoor setting where you can safely indulge in daytime bites, dining and cocktails. Yes, you can eat indoors at STK Steakhouse but I’d rather opt for fun in the sun.

Hideout breakfast options include healthy eats like fruit, cereal, house-made oatmeal, granola, and pastries. Bigger breakfast items include an egg sandwich, smoked salmon, buttermilk pancakes, Cinnamon French Toast, egg white omelet, and avocado toast.

Hideout lunch options include salads, think Blue Iceberg, Cobb, Tiger Prawn Salad, and Baby Gem Lettuce Caesar, as well as seasonal oysters, mushroom flatbread, shrimp cocktail, burrata and truffle toast, tuna tartare, lobster BLT, steak sandwich, Wagyu Burger & Fries, shrimp scampi, and steak frites.  Decadent desserts include Bag O’ Donuts, warm chocolate chip cookie, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and apple pie.

The Hideout Happy Hour, which is weekdays from 3pm to 6:30pm includes a lot of fun options such as tater tots, falafel, sliders and truffle fries, Giant Wagyu Meatball, short rib quesadilla, beef tartare, tuna tartare taco, popcorn chicken, and crispy calamari.

The Hideout breakfast is weekdays from 7am to 11am; weekend brunch is 8am to 3pm; weekday lunch is 11am to 3pm; and weekday Happy Hour is 3pm to 6:30pm.

Cocktails aren’t cheap at $21 a drink but imagine that you’re on vacation as you chill poolside. Libation options include Not Your Daddy’s Old Fashioned, Spiced Watermelon tequila drink, STK Mule with Yellow Chartreuse, Dirty Pearls (Ketel One dirty martini with blue cheese olives), Mojito, Margarita, and French Love (Hendrick’s Gin and fresh lemon).

It’ll be hard to find a better day drinking setting without opting for a rooftop with a killer view. At The Hideout you can escape the rat race and live the vacation life as you “hideout” from reality.

STK Steakhouse at The Hideout is located at the Westwood W Hotel at 930 Hilgard Avenue. Call 310-659-3535. Click here to make an online reservation.
