Looking for something adventurous and amazing to eat during these days of being Safer at Home? If you’re getting tired of mundane meals then check out the latest and greatest offering by Spoon By H, the family-owned café and dessert shop in midtown.

Spoon By H made a name for itself after celebrity chef David Chang declared it as his “restaurant of the year” in 2018. Since then, it has become a favorite hotspot beloved for its Kimchi Fried Rice and its menu specials such as Korean soups and dumplings.
Most recently, it introduced its traditional Dosirak—Korean packed lunch—available for now only on Mondays delivery or pickup. For $28 you get 24 tasty items, including rice, kimchi, braised short rib (Galbi-jjim), meatball, chicken wing, and a slew of sensational side items such as rolled omelet, dumpling, coleslaw, and kimchi pancake in addition to much, much more.

The dish is nearly big enough for two people, otherwise it’s a fantastic feast for one. This definitely is one of the most generous takeout meals in town. Spoon by H owner Yoojin Hwang meticulously prepares the following items for the packed lunch that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.

The dynamite dosirak from Spoon by H is currently available only on Mondays and must be reserved in advance via Tock. FYI, there 50 trays made per day and once they run out they run out for the day.
