RAPPER WIZ KHALIFA
TO LAUNCH DELIVERY-ONLY RESTAURANT
Rapper Wiz Khalifa is getting into the restaurant business with the launching of HotBot by Wiz, a delivery-only restaurant that will launch on October 1 in Los Angeles, San Diego, and other cities, including Chicago, Denver, Washington, D.C., Houston, New York City, as Pittsburgh, offering comfort and stoner-friendly dishes.
Menu items will include the Taylor Gang Turkey Burger served with a side of Chip Hits, as well as Blazed Ends (crispy, and savory burnt ends smothered in a smoky sweet BBQ sauce). More items to be announced shortly.
This delivery-only business model has become quite popular for musicians. DJ Steve Aoki launched Pizzaoki two years ago, while rapper Tyga recently launched Tyga Bites in collaboration with Chef Eric Greenspan to sell tasty chicken bites via GrubHub. Even Howlin’ Rays partnered with Post Malone for an extremely popular delivery-only combo via Postmates.
The brand’s motto is Light Up. Bite Down.
The plan is to off a top-shelf munchie menu curated by Wiz Khalifa. The brand is also looking for restaurant owners to become fulfillment partners to start cooking for HotBox.
Word has it that HotBoy by Wiz will be available via Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates and GrubHub.
