IRIS: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF CINEMA
EXCLUSIVELY AT KODAK THEATRE

Cirque du Soleil presents its latest dazzling show IRIS, a new major, resident production, exclusively for the Kodak Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center, home of the Academy Awards.

Presenting an imaginary journey through the evolution of cinema – from the foundations of the art form to the bustle of the soundstage through optical effects and film genres, IRIS is perfectly set up to permanently entertain Hollywood audiences.

The plot of the show centers around two young heroes, Buster and Scarlett, who find themselves plunged into the joyful chaos of a film set as their escapades transport the spectator into a kaleidoscope of movement, moods and images supported by an orchestral score composed by Danny Elfman.

IRIS will conjure up a place between motion and picture, light and sound that shifts constantly between reality and make-believe, to explore the limitless possibilities of cinema. From the recent previews we’ve seen at Opening Night of the Hollywood Bowl season, and during a brief press event, the show seems guaranteed to delight and be on par with any of the Cirque Vegas shows.

The Kodak Theatre is located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd at the Hollywood & Highland Center. Tickets will range from $43 to $133 (VIP tickets are available at $253). Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-877-943-IRIS or by clicking here.
