DJ CHRIS LAKE SURPRISE GIG AT AGENCY

Keeping the tradition of having A-list talent make surprise, unannounced performances at boutique Hollywood nightclub AGENCY, DJ Chris Lake spun Tuesday night, May 2nd, to the delight of the hipsters in the crowd.

Hollywood partygoers got their groove on as Scottish house music DJ/producer Chris Lake joined resident DJ Travis Emmons on the decks, performing an unforgettable surprise set in which he tried out some of his newest mixes and unheard tracks. The two DJs spun for a period together, which was exciting for revelers to witness, as Chris is actually looking to sign Travis Emmons to his label. Guests were especially pumped to hear Chris Lake play his track “Sundown,” which proves to be a fan favorite across the board.

Earlier in the evening, stars came out to celebrate the birthday of Justin Bieber’s bodyguard, Kenny Hamilton. Celebrities such as Zac Efron, Rob Kardashian, Brody Jenner, “Jersey Shore” stars Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Christina Milian joined Kenny and remained at AGENCY to enjoy DJ Chris Lake for the remainder of the evening. Fellow producers and musicians such as DJ NERO, Kid Cudi, Apl.de.ap, and Ryan Cabrera all came out in support of the guest DJ, while dancing the night away in the midst of confetti and smoke.

Since its opening late last year, AGENCY, a posh nightclub that caters to Hollywood’s most influential tastemakers and A-listers, has lured partygoers to its venue with the tempting beats produced by its weekly unannounced top DJ performances. Since its opening, the club has seen the likes of sought-after artists such as Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso from Swedish House Mafia, Manufactured Superstars, Nervo, Max Vangeli, LA Riots, and even a surprise performance by Deadmau5 during Grammy week.

While AGENCY is an invite only, intimate venue for up to 300 guests open Tuesdays and Saturdays, the club is located at 6021 Hollywood Blvd.
