JAMES REPUBLIC
SUNDAY NIGHT DINNER BELL RINGS ON
James Republic in Long Beach is celebrating seasonality with the return of its Sunday Night Dinner Bell Series where it will offer a three-course menu created from the local Sunday Farmers Market ingredients.
A Chef Dean James Max destination, James Republic is known nationally for its commitment to sustainability while celebrating the very best in seasonality. Its upcoming “Sunday Night Dinner Bell” monthly series will take place Sunday, September 14, Sunday, October 19 and Sunday, November 23.
One of Long Beach ’s most celebrated restaurants, James Republic is dedicated to providing locally sourced bounty from local purveyors. These special dinners are prepared by Chef/Restaurateur Dean James Max and James Republic’s Executive Chef David MacLennan. Local farmers in attendance include representatives from Tamai Farms, Weiser Farms and Gamma Farms to name a few. The chefs and farmers will take an active part in the dinner conversation, as guests enjoy communal table style seating.
The September 14th “Dinner Bell” bountiful family-style menu is inspired from the chefs’ early morning visit to the local Farmer’s Market. The event will begin at 4:30pm with market-inspired passed cocktails and canapés. The Dinner Bell will ring at 5pm with everyone gathering family-style to enjoy a selection of specially paired California wines to complement the one-of-a-kind menu.
The cost is $85 per person, inclusive. To make reservations, call (562) 901-0253. Seating is limited so reservations should be made in advance. Click here for more info.
