Fig & Olive, the West Hollywood chic restaurant, has ventured into the world of music by releasing its first music compilation, featuring tracks from the likes of Imogen Heap, Nouvelle Vague, Ivy, and Poolside. The record is meant to extend that feeling of the South of France that they emulate in their five soon to be seven restaurants across the country.

Fig & Olive: The Music Collection is available now at FigAndOlive.com, iTunes and at Fig & Olive restaurants. The über cool compilation was put together by Julien Nolan, the resident DJ and Music Director at Fig & Olive. Born in the South of France, Nolan brings his eclectic and sophisticated sound, a unique blend of Downtempo and Nu Disco, which he cultivated in Cannes, to Fig & Olive and to Los Angeles, which he now calls home.

Nolan has put together a fantastic compilation of lush and loungy tracks that sooth, relax and set the soundtrack for a festive and elegant night out. The compilation is billed as a warm music selection of seductive grooves from the French, Spanish and Italian Rivieras. The 16-track collection offers an eclectic yet well-balanced blend of tracks inspired by the elegant lifestyle of St. Tropez and Cannes—destinations made legendary by icons like Brigitte Bardot and Grace Kelly who frequented the region and remain two of the most sought upon in the world today.

“There’s a powerful factor that music plays at Fig & Olive and with this Collection it is our desire to offer our take on a perfect soundtrack with a range of artists and styles we’ve come to love,” says Nolan. “We enjoy putting together music, whether it’s for our locations or star-studded events, and the album allows anyone to share in that enjoyment.”
