Looking for a fun-filled Tuesday night out? I recently discovered the chic and merry amusement at Riviera 31 at Sofitel L.A. when they host their French Cabaret evenings. Drink nice French wine, enjoy tasty small bites and take in some lively entertainment that creates a rousing good time.

With an incredible line up of French singers, dancers, and jazz players, journey to Paris via songs of old and sultry cabaret performances. Don’t know much about French entertainment, fear not, drink a glass or two of wine or champagne and get lost in the vibrant and passionate live entertainment before you. It almost comes across as more gypsy cabaret than snooty French performances.

Not to mention, time spent in the elegant ambiance of the Riviera 31 lounge, while you nosh on delicious appetizers and sip on tasty cocktails, will take you on a visual journey through the evocative history of the French Riviera. Be dazzled by a unique mixology program, which offers a selection of masterfully crafted cocktails reminiscent of the luxurious retreats of the iconic French Riviera crafted by Chef Matthew Biancaniello.

Sultry singer Julia Kantor and her group French Singers L.A. perform their festive Paris Chansons show one Tuesday a month bringing the beautiful songs of Piaf, Aznavour, Brel, Macias, Dassin, and Maurane to life. On November 12, they’ll be bringing their Paris Chansons show with a Russian twist, which I’m sure will be a night not to miss.

Riviera 31 at Sofitel L.A. is located at 8555 Beverly Blvd. Aperitif (happy hour) is M-F from 6pm - 8pm.
