LEGENDARY MUSSO & FRANK
TURNS 100 IN STYLE
Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Musso & Frank Grill the oldest restaurant in Hollywood is celebrating its milestone in a big way.
It’s receiving the first-ever Hollywood Award of Excellence in the shape of a “star” from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which will be located in from of the restaurant’s Hollywood Boulevard entrance. It’s also celebrating the first-ever book published by the family of owners.
And if that’s not enough, Musso & Frank will host an exclusive fundraiser on Saturday, September 28 to benefit the Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF). The evening will start with cocktails at 6pm and dinner at 7pm.
The elegant dinner event will represent the very first time the globally-respected non-profit MPTF has aligned with a restaurant or destination to help raise funds to support its longstanding mission of annually providing thousands in the entertainment industry community with vital social services and programs as well as its iconic Country Home community in Woodland Hills.
After making a minimal $500 donation to attend Musso’s MPTF charity event, invited guests will enjoy cocktails and dinner with prices rolled back a full century to 1919 in the restaurant’s “new” room, which accommodates up to 100 people, and enjoy a diverse array of items being showcased throughout the evening by Musso & Frank and MPTF.
As a special token of appreciation for their support of MPTF, guests will also receive a free copy of the new oversized book entitled The Musso & Frank Grill chronicling the beloved restaurant’s storied 100-year history and close connection over the years to both Hollywood the city and Hollywood the entertainment industry institution. The book will be available to the public at the beginning of October at the restaurant and on Amazon.
