OFFERS KILLER CINCO DE MAYO SPECIAL

At Lanea, the mission is simple, bring the spirit of Mexico to Santa Monica. And they do so by offering a hand-selection of over 400 tequilas and mezcals and authentic cuisine from the East L.A. family run restaurant Barba Kush.  And that’s exactly the goal for Cinco de Mayo this year.

This Cinco de Mayo will feature All-You-Can Eat street tacos and two Cazadores cocktails for $20. There will be a one-hour table limit and Lanea will be open from 4pm to 9:30pm for the special occasion.

Guests will enjoy all-you-can-eat of your choice of Lanea's signature tacos, including the Barbacoa (lamb wrapped in agave leaves and pit-roasted underground for 36 hours), Asada (grilled steak with Petra’s seasoning), Cesina (thinly sliced and tenderized beef with Petra’s seasoning), Pollo (grilled chicken with Petra’s seasoning), Pescado con Mango (tilapia topped with mango, green and red pepper, avocado, and Mexican cream), Camaron Con Mango (shrimp topped with mango, green and red pepper, avocado and lettuce), Beyond Meat (Beyond Meat seasoned with Petra’s seasoning and the Vegetarian (spinach and mushrooms). All tacos are handmade to order on 100% gluten-free corn tortillas and served with guacamole, cilantro, and onion (except Pescado and Camaron).

To wash down the tacos try two of Lanea's Cazadores cocktails, including the Margarita (Cazadores Blanco, Demerara, Curacao, fresh lime) and the SOCALienta Margarita (Cazadores Blanco, Thai chili, Serrano, habanero honey, pineapple, citrus).

If you haven’t been doing too much outdoor dining, Lanea offers plenty of outdoor seating after taking over the sidewalk in front of the Santa Monica restaurant—furnishing it with eight tables, enough seating for about 40 guests and extra protective barriers creating an exclusive feel for patrons. On weekends, you can also dine outside on their satellite dining area on Third Street Promenade in front of the Apple Store.

They take temperature checks for guests as well as staff, who wear masks and gloves, use UV-light to filter the air and offer hand sanitizer. All cocktails are $13, except for the Margarita and Old Fashioned at $11 and tacos start at $2.50. Lanea is open for indoor and outdoor dining, takeout and delivery.
