TRUE FOOD KITCHEN INTRODUCES NEW FALL MENU ITEMS

Santa Monica’s True Food Kitchen has introduced new fall items to its health conscious menu, including brand new appetizers, entrees, desserts and more from chef Michael Stebner.

True Food Kitchen, which offers a globally inspired, seasonal menu appealing to anyone seeking a more balanced lifestyle, recently debuted 13 new seasonal dishes. True Food Kitchen is known for embracing high-quality, locally and regionally sourced ingredients to create a pure, simple menu that tastes great while nourishing the body, mind and spirit.

“As the seasons change, so do the best local ingredients,” said Executive Chef, Michael Stebner. “At True Food Kitchen, we thrive on providing our diners with a wide variety of locally sourced dishes with Asian and Mediterranean influences. This fall, we are excited to work with seasonal, local produce like kale, Brussels sprouts and apples.”

New appetizers include, salads and pizzas as well as Thai Shrimp Dumplings with basil, mint, jalapeno; Roasted Beet & Mozzarella Agrodolce with pistachio, arugula, extra virgin olive oil; Gluten-free Harvest Chopped Salad with squash, apple, pomegranate, walnuts, goat cheese, balsamic vinaigrette; Vegan Organic Tomato & Roasted Kale Pizza with caramelized onion and garlic. Prices range from $7 - $15.

New entrée choices include Red Chili Shrimp with sesame noodles, choy sum, red spinach and shitake mushrooms; Gluten-free Pan Seared Sea Bass with Brussels sprouts, purple potato, mushrooms and umami; Vegetarian Squash and Ricotta Ravioli with kale, maitake mushroom soy broth; Roasted Chicken with farro, Brussels sprouts, cranberry and walnuts.

Brunch gets a seasonal makeover as well, as the popular Quinoa Johnny Cake is now served with bananas. Prices range from $13 - $25. Wholesome desserts including Apple Crisp with Pecan Maple Ice Cream, and Squash Pie with Coconut Whipped Cream are now offered in addition to seasonal sorbets and signature desserts such as the Dairy Free Organic Chocolate Pudding. Prices range from $2.50 - $7.

True Food Kitchen is located at 395 Santa Monica Place and is open seven days a week. Three-hours free valet parking is available on 2nd Street near the restaurant entrance. Call 310-593-8300. Hours: Monday – Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday: 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Brunch served until 3 pm; Sunday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Brunch served until 3 pm.
