GLOW LOUNGE
OFFERING CRISP CALIFORNIA CONTEMPORARY CUISINE

With a decidedly modern approach to imaginative and classic California contemporary fare in a casual, outdoor environment, Glow Lounge, located at the Marina Del Rey Marriott, has been heralded as one of the top ten hotel lounges in the U.S.

A festive outdoor lounge, Glow takes full advantage of the beautiful California weather offering a relaxed, chill spot to drink, dine and dance. With a tasty bite size menu of “something to snack on” dishes including Ahi Tuna Stack, Calamari, with your choice of spicy tomato sauce or kung pao sauce (we highly recommend ordering both), Chilled Jumbo Shrimp, and Hummus, served with grilled flatbread and crispy celery for dipping, the setting is perfect for a festive and easy night under the stars.

Thursday nights is now home to Flirt featuring a mix of Lounge, Jazz, Downtempo, Deep House, and Top 40 music from 6-10pm with Special Ladies Night and All Night Happy Hour promotions. Special cocktails include the White Grape Martini, Grapefruit Jalapeno Martini, Coconut Lime Martini, Cucumber Gin Martini, Raspberry Limeade, and Mangotini. Happy Hour is Mondays thru Fridays from 4-7pm with deals on select draft beer for $4, wine for $6, and appetizers for $6. We strongly recommend the fiery Jalapeno Martini (your lips have been warned!).

And if you’re looking for a more satisfying and hearty bite, you can also order from the hotel’s poolside Stone Restaurant without ever leaving the welcoming lounge surroundings. And Chef Chad Roldan as indeed crafted some delectable dishes to his first-rate menu.

Suggested entrees include the wonderful Pot Roast Short Ribs, as well as the savory Rack of Lamb, and the classic Black Cod. And if you’re looking for a something sweet and decadent, the menu’s Delectable Offerings includes Warm Apple and Walnut Cobbler with vanilla ice cream, Warm Chocolate Cake, Crème Brulee with Berries, Warm Croissant Pudding with vanilla caramel crème anglaise, and a Raspberry Sorbet. We say you can’t go wrong with the Warm Chocolate Cake, and Warm Croissant Pudding; they’re proven winners.

Featuring outdoor cabanas, fire pits, and tall bamboo, Glow Lounge creates a unique and eclectic setting. Don’t think of a loud and flashy Hollywood club, this is more of a relaxed and lazy beach hangout perfect for a night out. Do note that on weekends, the hotel does offer reduced rates (including complementary buffet breakfast) for party revelers who want to make a real night out of it and stay over, that way you can definitely, dine, drink, dance and not drive home.

Glow Lounge at Marriott Marina Del Rey is located at 4100 Admiralty Way in Marina Del Rey. Call 310-448-4152.
