THE DEN OF HOLLYWOOD
A SWANKY LOUNGE THAT DELIVERS ON THE EATS
The new Den of Hollywood offers a cool, casual and comfortable refuge from The Strip and the hustle & bustle of life in this city. Enter and you’ll think you’ve just walked into a swanky ski lodge.
Decorated with a stone-covered entrance offering peaked ceilings, a fireplace, outdoor fire pit, The Den of Hollywood feels casual and is a welcome escape from reality with an ample bar always close by.

Featuring a menu broken up between Let’s Share (appetizers) and All Mine (entrees) selections, grab a drink first, they feature several creative and tasty specialty cocktails, and then start off with the Bacon Wrapped Dates (blue cheese stuffed with sweet onion chutney). Delicious!
The Ahi Tuna Tartar is a fine choice as well; finely chopped, it’s presented with truffle potato chips and avocado-cucumber sauce.
The Spring Panzanella Salad, from the Ruffage section of the menu, is prepared with asparagus, peas, cucumber and grilled crostin and has a wonderful, warm panini taste. This is a healthy and tasty choice.
Another highly recommended ‘Share’ selection are the Pork Belly Tacos prepared with red chili crema, salsa verde and candied onions. Served with generous chunks of pork and a tangy sauce this one is a winner!
The Den Cheeseburger, with homemade buns made on site, is a hearty must. House ground choice, cheddar, caramelized onion, house pickles, tomato, butter lettuce, and the brioche bun combine for a filling and extremely satisfying meal.

Just because it sounded interesting, and because I always say everything always tastes better with bacon, I had to sample the Bacon and Cheese Doughnut Holes. Presented with maple syrup and powdered sugar, they were a hit at the table, but alas, I no longer will ever say that everything tastes better with bacon. The combination didn’t win me over personally but I stood in the minority with this item. I say order another round of bacon-wrapped dates.
On this night they were out of their signature, classy TV Dinner dish of chicken and cheese enchiladas, Chipotle rice, house salad, and a cookie presented in a classic, metal TV Dinner tray. Talk about a great presentation. I’ll be going back for this highly popular item.
For dessert the Chef brought out the Kitchen Sink Sundae, an outrageous and highly delicious and decadent smorgasbord of treats including bananas, strawberries, ice cream, chocolate and angel food. This is now a new favorite.

Happy Hour at The Den of Hollywood is Mon-Fri 5pm-7pm, and Sat-Sun 3pm-7pm and features half-priced special small food plates as well as half-priced well drinks, tap beer, and house wines.
