MAURO’S CAFÉ WELCOMES
CHEF EINAT ADMONY OF NYC FOR POP-UP DINING
Always a brunch favorite (and now a Thursday night dinner go-to place too), Mauro’s Café at Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue will welcome Guest Chef Einat Admony of NYC's Balaboosta this month for a much welcomed pop-up experience. Chef Admony will take over the kitchen on May 27, 28, 29 and 31. There will be two seatings nightly at 6pm and 9:30pm.
Einat Admony, the chef-owner of New York City's popular Balaboosta, Bar
Bolonat, and Taïm restaurants, is teaming up with Mauro's Cafe at Fred Segal to test the waters for a possible West Coast expansion.
Chef Admony has been featured in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and
New York Magazine, among others, and has been a winning chef on shows like "Chopped" and "Throwdown! with Bobby Flay." Her debut cookbook features 140 of the recipes she cooks for the people she loves: her children, her husband, and the many friends she regularly entertains.
During her stay at the Mauro’s Café May 27, 28, 29 and 31, Chef Admony will be serving elevated, upscale versions of the same dishes that you might find on any given night at Balaboosta, such as Shrimp Kataïf with tobiko sauce, and Adobo-Rubbed
Skirt Steak with charred tomato, spring onions, cherry tomato vinaigrette.
While in Los Angeles, she will seamlessly blend her Israeli heritage with inspirations from fresh, California spring produce to make sophisticated Mediterranean plates in a three-course tasting menu, perfectly accompanied with optional wine pairings.
Tickets are $90 for the pre-fix tasting menu. Price excludes gratuity and beverages. To make reservations call 917-740-1003 or click here.
Chef Admony’s kitchen takeover at Mauro's Café at Fred Segal, located at 8112 Melrose Ave in West Hollywood, will take place May 27, 28, 29 and 31 with dinner served at 6pm and 9:30pm.
