BUFFET OVERLOAD

Because this is Las Vegas we’re talking about there’s no escaping the buffet. We opted to hit up The M Resort in Henderson which just celebrated its one-year anniversary. The state- of-the-art Studio B Buffet also includes the live action cooking show Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini which is definitely worth catching. This 60-minute show treats a live studio audience to entertaining and educational demonstrations, complimentary food/beverage sampling and special “handy hints” and “tasty tips.”

Upon our visit we sampled her savory Pinto Grigio Delight (3oz Pinto Grigio, 1 oz Peach Schnapps, splash of cranberry juice and Maraschino cherry for garnish) and her delicious Potato Leek Soup.

Audience members of Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini are escorted directly to Studio B Buffet afterwards without having to wait in line and can sit in a private section with an outside view that is a truly rare treat inside any casino. As the chefs prepare delicious appetizers, entrees and impressive patisserie desserts guests may also enjoy unlimited beer and wine selections at no additional cost. That’s definitely a crowd favorite.

Sure, it’s a bit of a drive from the Strip but the impressive assortment of food (and free beer & wine) is a lot cheaper than what you’ll find anywhere else. The dining experience is made truly unique by the ever-changing live cooking and technique demonstrations by culinary experts that are broadcast on 110' x 6' video monitors inside the main buffet so everyone can watch.

Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini is Wednesday – Sunday with shows at 12pm, 4pm and 7pm (dark Mondays and Tuesdays).
