FLEMING’S PRIME STEAKHOUSE AND WINE BAR
OPENS IN BEVERLY HILLS

The elite steakhouse scene in Beverly Hills just got more crowded with the addition of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar on N. Beverly Drive. Known for its extraordinary prime steakhouse experience and nationally acclaimed wine program, the new Beverly Hills location promises to deliver unparalleled contemporary fine dining, combining its signature classic steaks with its ever-evolving small plates, and its popular 5 for $6 ‘til 7 happy hour featuring the incredible Prime Burger with cheese and bacon for only $6.

Step inside and you’ll be impressed by Fleming’s warm and inviting charm, featuring extensive use of glass, including a dramatic floor-to-ceiling street-view front window and two-story wine display tower at the center of the restaurant.

“We have long wanted to introduce a Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Beverly Hills,” says Fleming’s President Skip Fox. “We are honored to be a part of such a notable international destination and look forward to being an active member of the community.”

Just like the Fleming’s at LA LIVE, the Beverly Hills location offers a vibrant bar scene, in fact, during our recent visit, the bar area was already packed by regulars enjoying happy hour—choose from five premium cocktails, five award-winning wines by the glass, and five signature appetizers priced at $6 until 7pm.

We started dinner with the Pan Crisped Pork Belly, served with creamy goat cheese grits and sweet onion chutney. One bite of this mouthwatering dish and you know you’re in for a great night. And do trust the staff to recommend and pair wines with your meal if you’re not comfortable deciding for yourself as they are well versed with Fleming’s famous wine program. I became an instant fan of the lovely and tasty Kelly Fleming Wines.

Looking for a salad, choose between Fleming’s Salad, prepared with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, tomatoes, onions and herbed crostini, sweet yet hearty, or (my pick) The New Wedge with grape tomatoes, crispy onions, caramelized bacon, and blue cheese—it’s a winner.

Obviously you’ll be in good hands when it comes to your steak, proven winners include the Main Filet Mignon, Fleming’s leanest and most tender beef; Prime Rib-eye Steak, an extremely flavorful cut of beef; Double Thick Pork Rib Chop mixed with a Julienne of apples and jicama, apple cider and Creole mustard sauce. You can also choose from Barbecue Scottish Salmon or Double Breast of Chicken if you’re looking for lighter, leaner fare. Again, pair with a suggested wine and elevate the quality of your dining experience. Typical of most steakhouses, side dishes come a la carte; we indulged with Fleming’s Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus.

Save room for dessert, a most decadent treat, or take it to go. Choose from Cheesecake, classic New York style on a graham cracker crust served with blueberry sauce and white chocolate shavings; Chocolate Lava Cake; Crème Brûlée; Walnut Turtle Pie; and a personal favorite, Carrot Cake.

Elevating the Beverly Hills steakhouse scene, Fleming’s is definite the new go-to place for quality ‘quick eats’ in addition to its stellar sit down, fine dining experience.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Beverly Hills is located at 252 N. Beverly Drive, between Dayton Way and Wilshire Blvd. Call for reservations 310-278-8710.
