With hot days comes the unquenchable desire for cold desserts to hit the spot, and the newest, must-try sweet spot in town is My Vienna Gelato & Café. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, this cute sweet shop offers an authentic European experience, from their world-class gelato to their authentic Austrian coffees—all served on a traditional silver platter.

My Vienna founder Spin Mlynarik, a former professional tennis player, desired to create a place where friends and families can gather and socialize, as they do in gelaterias in Vienna, Austria. In fact, his espresso maker, gelato goblets, the Julius Meinl coffee, and even teaspoons are all imported from the Old World.

“We offer an authentic experience so our guests can relax and indulge in life’s simple pleasures,” Spin explains. “Growing up in Vienna, I had an innate love for the gelateria. It’s a community, a place to sit down and mingle, spend time with your family in the midst of a delicious dessert culture. I wanted to bring that experience to Southern California.”

My Vienna offers a wide range of unique, seasonal flavors. Their delicious gelato is made from a secret recipe that has won numerous ‘Best Gelato’ awards in Italy. In fact, all gelatos, sorbets and pastries at My Vienna are made fresh daily. Popular flavors include their award-winning Nocciolone(Chocolate Hazelnut), Pistachio, Lemon rose petal, Nutella, Coconut, and Basil raspberry.

Leave it to Spin, the former tennis pro, to hit an ace with his shop, where sweet tooth lovers and order their treats "to-go" in sugar or waffle cones, as well as paper cups and insulated boxes, which they like to call "bricks."  Game. Set. Match.
