LINK-N-HOPS
ATWATER VILLAGE GASTROPUB FOR LINKS & BREWS
Diving headfirst into the gourmet sausage and international beers game, the folks at Link-N-Hops are giving east-siders in the Atwater Village/Glendale/Los Feliz area a reason to standup and relish quality eats and hops.
No longer do locals have to trek to downtown L.A. for first rate sausages and beers at Wurstküche, now they can stay close to home and indulge in exotic and hearty sausages and an impressive selection of 24 international beers on tap.

Owner Andy Hasroun, the man who brought the first Starbucks to the community and owner of 55 Degree Wine, a fashionable wine store and lounge located next door where customers can taste over 2,000 exotic wines from all over the world, prides himself on having a wide array of unique links including vegan/vegetarian options. Popular menu items include: Smoked Crocodile Andouille, Smoked Ostrich with Pistachio, Duck & Bacon with Jalapeño, Lamb Merquez, Vegan Smoked Apple Sausage, and Vegan Spicy Pepper.
All the links and homemade Triple Dipped Belgian Fries are paired with custom organic sauces like Spicy Curry Ketchup, Habañero Aioli, and Wasabi Aioli, to name a few. Housed in a hip environment with fun, lively music and a selection of hops from around the world including Palate Wrecker Imperial IPA, Allagash Curieux - Bourbon Barrel aged Tripel, Blanche De Bruxelles Withier, and much more, Link-N-Hops is located in the heart of booming Atwater Village and is destined to be the new headquarters for anyone hungry for hearty grub and thirsty for refreshing and satisfying beers.
During our recent visit, we let the staff pick our toppings, which was an excellent choice, and started with Andy’s favorite, the Smoked Pork with Cheese topped with onions and sauerkraut. This went great with a nice, cold Allagash. The Smoked Apple vegan sausage, made with apple, potatoes, and hickory smoke, topped with tomatoes and lettuce proved to be a great option for anyone looking for a non-meat selection.
The Rabbit with Wine, topped with peppers and onions was extremely satisfying, while the Lamb Merquez topped with peppers and onions proved to be a definite favorite. The Wild Boar with Marsala topped with onions and pickles was also top-notch. The pickles provided a nice kick that paired so well with a cold beer. And do make sure to save room for the Triple Dipped Belgian Fries. Yum!
While a lot of restaurants have tried to mimic the gourmet sausage and beer hall vibe that Wurstküche started and mastered, most fail in comparison, but Link-N-Hops manages to create its own unique energy and environment while also serving extremely tasty gourmet sausages that are reason enough to head to the east side for any and all L.A. foodies.
