LURE NIGHTCLUB & GASTRO LOUNGE
REVOLUTIONIZE LOCAL NIGHTLIFE SCENE

Combining quality eats with an extravagant nightclub setting; Lure Nightclub and its accompanying Lure Gastro Lounge are helping to redefine the Hollywood club scene.

From L.A. nightlife pioneers the Sunset Entertainment Group (SEG), the folks who brought you The Sunset Room, White Lotus, Cabana Club and Green Door, they have now upped the bar to make Lure the ultimate nightclub experience.

The club features a vast and topnotch indoor/outdoor space, and also boasts the intimate gastro lounge where you can dine on fine food before getting your club experience on. During our recent visit to Lure Gastro Lounge, we started with tasty small bites with their highly recommended Sliders, available in your choice of beef ground chuck or Vegan-port wine, and the delectable Tuna Tacos, featuring scrumptious Ahi tuna, wonton shell, Persian cucumber, light soy, lime and avocado.

Other fine small plates to start your evening include with savory Turkey Meatballs with bourbon glaze, and the Ceviche Shooters prepared with local white fish, shrimp, jicama, coconut, and plantain chip. Yum!

Looking for bigger dishes for our entrées, we had the light and fresh Halibut, prepared with pan seared halibut gremolata with Quinoa salad and blood orange buerre blanc, and the Rack of Lamb made with New Zealand lamb chops, pistachio-agave glaze, whipped parsnips, Clementine chutney, and kale. Both are fine hearty dishes that hit the appropriate spot, from guilt-free pleasure to a delicious filling and meaty option.

Kudos to the chef for crafting quality food in a nightclub setting, but the fun didn’t stop with our main courses as dessert also hit the mark with a resounding bull’s-eye. Both the Chocolate & Hazelnut Ganache, and the Gran Marnier Bread Pudding are extremely fine, decadent treats. You will not go wrong with either, but I give a slight nod to the bread pudding, which is top notch.

Once dinner is over, and if you’re not ready for food coma, it’s off to Lure Nightclub where you can hang with the beautiful people (so great for people watching) and dance the night away. FYI, dinner includes VIP access to the club.

Boasting a 50,000-watt Line Array sound system with lighting designed by the renowned Steve Lieberman, and high-definition LED walls, Lure also features a state of the art Kryosystem, 110 kinetic light spheres that are choreographed with the music, plush lounge seating, and four full service bars. Upon entering Lure, guests are ushered through a sweeping diamond faceted façade to reach an abstract garden with 12 oversized cabanas, water features and flower sculptures.

A white cocoon styled VIP area that overlooks the stage and a loft area with original wood truss ceiling exposed defines the interior space. To create softness in the space there are oversized suede panels next to motion sensitive LED screens. The backdrop to the faceted main bar is a 14′ fire sculpture. On the other side of the fire sculpture is The Patio, a secret back garden with suspended plants and 6′ topiary chandeliers. Intricate metal, lace-like accents, dark mahogany floors, and mosaic style LED bars complete Lure’s appeal.

Lure is located at 1439 Ivar Ave. Lure Gastro Lounge is open for dinner
Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7pm - 11pm. Reservations are highly recommended. Dress code strictly enforced. Dinner includes VIP access to the club. Call 323-463-0004.
