INTRODUCING BRERA RISTORANTE
NEW NAME, SAME GREATNESS
What’s in a name? Sometimes change is good but it’s the tried and true consistent quality that matters. Factory Place Hospitality Group, which also own and operates The Factory Kitchen and sixth+mill pizzeria and bar, has renamed its high end Officine BRERA to BRERA Ristorante as the Downtown LA trattoria has transitioned to a new, simplified and more approachable name.
“We are excited to offer our guests a new simplified name for our establishment,” says Matteo Ferdinandi, CEO of Factory Place Hospitality Group. “We remain committed to delivering exceptional service, quality ingredients, and a comfortable, beautiful atmosphere at BRERA Ristorante.”
The Northern Italian restaurant remains true to its original concept and design. Inspired by “cucina povera,” indigenous to the countryside along the River Po’ Valley in Northern Italy where both Chef Angelo Auriana and CEO Matteo Ferdinandi grew up. The menu offers Chef Auriana’s translation of Italian flavors with traditional recipes from his heritage, combining contemporary techniques with tradition, and using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.
Popular dishes at BRERA Ristorante include house-made gnocchi with castelmagno and hazelnuts, pastas such as cocoa tagliatelle with lobster, langoustine, mussels and tomato risottos such as the milanese with saffron and roasted bone marrow and stinchetto, roasted pork shank with polenta and escarole.
A variety of monthly special events will also be available to guests and the public, including wine dinners, beer pairings, tastings, pre-fixe menus, and more.
BRERA Ristorante is located at 1331 E 6th Street. Open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and dinner daily. Call (213) 553-8006.
