FOR THE AT-HOME BARTENDER
YOU “CAN” DO IT!

Looking to impress friend and family with your at-home cocktails? Well, one big step in wowing folks is in your presentation. While looks can be deceiving, it’s that first impression when you present your cocktail that may make something think, ‘this guy really knows what he (or she) is doing.’

And let’s be real, in this age of social media where it doesn’t exist unless others can like it, presentation and photo appeal is key. So props to Challo Schoott, owner of the “secret” bar The O.G. in Delray Beach in Florida.

In fact, Challo has come up with a couple of simple cocktails with great appeal that any of us can make at home to impress our fellow imbibers.

The Mexi Mule is garnished with an upside down mini bottle of Patron Tequila and mint sprig served on the rocks in a tin can mixing fresh passion fruit juice, fresh lime juice, ginger beer and tequila.

In a stroke of genius, the O.G. Bloody Mary is served in a Campbell’s Tomato Soup can. A hair of the dog concoction, the recipe calls for Michelada Spice Mix, vodka and tomato juice (all the vitamins to kick start a brand new day). Garnish with a lemon wedge and garlicky pickle of peperoni to complete the photo-worthy look.
